Vaughan PTA's Annual Red Ribbon Picnic

Thursday, October 28th from 5:00 - 6:30 PM on the Vaughan campus

 

All are invited to enjoy:

  • Hot Dogs, Chips, Drinks, and Sweets
  • Obstacle Course and Bounce Houses
  • Yard Games
  • DJ Music & Dancing
  • Cake and Cookie Walk
  • Balloon Animals
  • THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR will be open!

 

**Families are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket to help in making this a socially distanced event.  


How can you help? 

Donate Time!

We have several volunteer needs the night of the event from grilling hot dogs to overseeing the inflatable stations. Shifts are broken down into 30 minutes each so that you can still enjoy the picnic with your family. We appreciate all of our volunteers!  Please reach out to volunteers@vaughanpta.com with any questions.

Student Volunteers:  We have asked student volunteers to also help with this event. They are students who need to earn service hours for school. Donate Cake!

An old-fashion cake (and cookie) walk will be part of our Red Ribbon festivities. Can you help? We ask that all cakes or cookies be store bought with NO NUTS! Note, you will need to be logged in to your Membership Toolkit account to sign up.

Donate Items!

Each grade is encouraged to donate the following items to provide for our family picnic. 

  • Kinder, 1st, & 2nd Grades: Individually wrapped finger desserts (Store bought; No Peanuts)
  • 3rd & 4th: Individual chip bags
  • 5th & 6th: Drinks (juice boxes, waters, or canned drinks)
